Bhagalpur, October 28: Beginning from Kurukshetra the Vishwa Mangal Gou Gram Yatra is in Bihar for the last two days. Leaving Bihar Sharif and passing through Badh, Lakhisarai and Munger it reached Bhagalpur where it received touching traditional welcome. People dressed in their traditional dresses and equipped with their traditional music instruments welcomed the Yatra with folk songs and dances. People were eager to welcome the saints and the Yatra even in remote villages. Thousands of people assembled at the function organised in Bhagalpur to welcome the Yatra.

Addressing the gathering Shri Bhaskar Kulkarni, convener of the yatra in Eastern Bharat, said India has today become sick and every person appears in the grip of any diseases. Despite having lakhs of doctors in hospitals the diseases are not being controlled. He said the biggest reason of this critical condition is negligence of the cow. He said the countrymen are themselves responsible for the problems of insecurity, unemployment and underdevelopment as we are ourselves ignoring our precious govansh.
He said the cow is the goddesses of prosperity and we are facing many problems today just because of her negligence. He said if we protect the cow and stop selling her to the butchers we could not only make our own life happy but the whole nation would become an economic super power. Swami Nayandas administered the oath of cow protection to the audience.
